Today was a good day! It all started last Saturday when I took the child seat off of my bicycle and found that the seat stays had received some damage. I then spent a while researching new bikes - it is amazing how much more bikes cost now than when I bought my first one. Anyway, I looked at a couple of different brands and combinations. Today I went and test rode 4 different bikes and decided on a brand new Cannondale. I can't wait until tomorrow to take it out for a real ride, not just a 2 km test drive!

I'm jealous. I have a 17 year old mtn bike, but still do a fair bit of cycling. With a bike like that, you're far more into the sport than I am.
